I was invited to perform at Subterfuge at the Isllington Mill, Salford , 03/03/07 . The event was mix of Sound, Performance and Burlesque dancing. Mine was the first sound performance of the night which was probably not such a good idea and few people walked out. Initially I was going to use my own little sound system for a more intimate feel, but succumbed to the temptations of the louder house PA. Submerged in darkness at the back of the room my performance consisted of a series of improvisations using my self-made software instruments exploring digital noise. I did not consider it overly hostile but in parts it was very penetrating. In hindsight I played for too long, I should have stopped 15 minutes in. Listening back to the recording I need to address structure, it doesn't seem to go anywhere and is not particular dynamic. When performing live its difficult to keep a sense of time, of the wider structure, particularly when improvising alone.

Caught on end of the recording there is a woman's voice calling out that she has some Paracetmol if anyone needs any.
